2006 Ducati ST3 Rider Ergonomics Assessment

Calculated in your browser only - your height/inseam are never sent to our servers.

Feet:

At 820mm, a rider of 175cm with a 79cm (estimated) inseam will reach the ground with balls of both feet on the 2006 Ducati ST3, with a cramped knee angle of around 70 degrees and a forward-leaning riding position.

Data quality: measured. Assumes about 30mm of suspension sag once seated (a typical street-bike rule of thumb - stiffer or softer suspension will vary). This is an approximation from category-typical geometry and generic body proportions, not a measurement of this specific bike or you - sit on it before you buy.

⚠ Safety Recalls (1)

FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY Dec 2006 · 06V485000

ON CERTAIN MOTORCYCLES, THE FUEL SENDING UNIT WIRING CABLES INSTALLED DURING PRODUCTION COULD BE ROUTED INCORRECTLY POSSIBLY COMING IN CONTACT WITH THE EXHAUST PIPES.

Risk: THIS CONDITION WILL BURN OUT THE CABLES INSULATION AND CAUSE A POSSIBLE ELECTRICAL SHORT CIRCUIT STOPPING THE FUEL PUMP AND CONSEQUENTLY STOPPING THE ENGINE. IF THE ENGINE STOPS WHILE THE MOTORCYCLE IS BEING DRIVEN, IT COULD INCREASE THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE FUEL SENDING UNIT WIRING CABLES AND REPOSITION THEM IF NECESSARY. THE RECALL BEGAN ON JANUARY 17, 2007. OWNERS MAY CONTACT DUCATI AT 1-408-253-0499.
