Rider Profile

Best ForBest suited to intermediate and experienced riders who want a torquey V-twin with sport-touring manners rather than outright track aggression.
PurposeDesigned for covering long distances quickly and comfortably while still offering genuine sporting handling through corners.
Rider FitA moderate seat height and manageable dry weight make it accessible, though the reach to the bars leans slightly sporty for shorter riders.
CharacterA characterful desmodromic V-twin with strong midrange torque, planted trellis-frame handling, and a refined, grand-touring demeanor.
Not Ideal ForNot a good fit for off-road use or riders seeking a lightweight naked or a pure hypersport track weapon.

2006 Ducati ST3S ABS Rider Ergonomics Assessment

Calculated in your browser only - your height/inseam are never sent to our servers.

Feet:

At 820mm, a rider of 175cm with a 79cm (estimated) inseam will reach the ground with balls of both feet on the 2006 Ducati ST3S ABS, with a cramped knee angle of around 70 degrees and a forward-leaning riding position.

Data quality: measured. Assumes about 30mm of suspension sag once seated (a typical street-bike rule of thumb - stiffer or softer suspension will vary). This is an approximation from category-typical geometry and generic body proportions, not a measurement of this specific bike or you - sit on it before you buy.
