About the Aprilia RSV Mille R

Aprilia created the RSV Mille R in 2000 as a more aggressive track version of the already capable RSV Mille.

Changes compared to the 2000 base model RSV Mille include a 5kg saving in weight, fully adjustable Ohlins suspension and a single seat (on a shorter subframe) and 25% lighter forged Aluminium wheels, carbon panels, LCD speedo, shift light, clock, temp gauge and highest top/average speed this session switch.

Timeline:

The 2003 RSV Mille R included a more aerodynamic mudguard and tail end re-design, which made it easier to get your leg over the rear. There was also a Colin Edwards Replica consisting of 460 units, basically with higher pressure intake and adjusted throttle

2000 Aprilia RSV Mille R Rider Ergonomics Assessment

Calculated in your browser only - your height/inseam are never sent to our servers.

Feet:

At 825mm, a rider of 175cm with a 79cm (estimated) inseam will reach the ground with balls of both feet on the 2000 Aprilia RSV Mille R, with a cramped knee angle of around 70 degrees and a forward-leaning riding position.

Data quality: measured. Assumes about 30mm of suspension sag once seated (a typical street-bike rule of thumb - stiffer or softer suspension will vary). This is an approximation from category-typical geometry and generic body proportions, not a measurement of this specific bike or you - sit on it before you buy.
