Performance Profile & Rider Fit
Best For
Rider Profile
| Best For | Best suited to experienced riders who are comfortable managing a heavy, long-wheelbase machine at low speeds and in parking maneuvers. |
| Purpose | Built primarily for long-distance highway touring with a passenger and luggage rather than sporty riding or commuting. |
| Rider Fit | Riders benefit from decent height and upper body strength to handle the substantial weight when walking the bike backward or navigating tight spaces, though the low seat height helps shorter riders reach the ground. |
| Character | Appeals to riders who value big V-twin torque, cruiser styling, and premium comfort features like heated seats and grips over outright agility or performance. |
| Not Ideal For | Not a good fit for riders seeking nimble cornering, off-road capability, or a lightweight machine for city commuting. |
Character map is an editorial estimate based on this bike's specifications, not a lab-tested measurement.
⚠ Safety Recalls (1)
Polaris Industries, Inc. (Polaris) is recalling certain 2010-2017 Victory Cross Country, Cross Country Tour, Cross Roads, Magnum, and Hard Ball motorcycles. If the engine misfires, continued riding may result in heat from the catalytic converter melting the rear brake line and nearby wiring.
Risk: A melted rear brake line can reduce braking performance, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Polaris will notify owners, and dealers will re-route the brake line away from the exhaust catalyst, free of charge. The recall began on November 8, 2017. Owners may contact Polaris customer service at 1-877-737-7172. Polaris' number for this recall is V-17-02.
