Rider Profile

Best ForBest suited to riders who already have some experience handling long, heavy cruisers at low speeds.
PurposeBuilt for laid-back boulevard cruising and highway stretches rather than outright performance or commuting agility.
Rider FitThe low 685mm seat height helps shorter riders reach the ground, but the 309kg weight and long wheelbase demand confident low-speed handling.
CharacterA bold, chopper-styled custom cruiser with a torquey V-twin, shaft drive, and a relaxed, muscular riding stance.
Not Ideal ForNot suited to riders wanting sharp cornering ability, off-road capability, or a lightweight, nimble ride.

⚠ Safety Recalls (1)

FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY Dec 2017 · 17V805000

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2017 Honda VT1300CX Fury motorcycles and 2010 and 2016 Honda VT1300CX Fury motorcycles that received a replacement fuel tank. The fuel tank may be missing welds around the mounting bracket.

Risk: If the welds are missing, the mounting bracket can separate from the tank, allowing fuel to leak and increasing the risk of a fire in the presence of an ignition source.

Remedy: Honda will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the fuel tank welds and, as necessary, replace the fuel tank, free of charge. The recall began December 14, 2017. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138.
