Rider Profile

Best ForThis is a demanding superbike best suited to experienced riders who are comfortable with aggressive ergonomics and high performance limits.
PurposeBuilt primarily for track days and spirited sport riding, with strong cornering precision and top-end speed as its core mission.
Rider FitExpect a committed forward-leaning riding position with high footpegs and low bars that place significant weight on the wrists and demand good core strength and flexibility.
CharacterA raw, mechanical Italian V-twin superbike with a distinctive desmodromic growl, sharp handling, and a focus on rider engagement over comfort.
Not Ideal ForThis is not a good choice for new riders, daily commuters, long-distance tourers, or anyone seeking a relaxed, upright, comfortable ride.

2004 Ducati 999 Rider Ergonomics Assessment

Calculated in your browser only - your height/inseam are never sent to our servers.

Feet:

At 780mm, a rider of 175cm with a 79cm (estimated) inseam will reach the ground with both feet flat on the 2004 Ducati 999, with a cramped knee angle of around 70 degrees and a forward-leaning riding position.

Data quality: measured. Assumes about 30mm of suspension sag once seated (a typical street-bike rule of thumb - stiffer or softer suspension will vary). This is an approximation from category-typical geometry and generic body proportions, not a measurement of this specific bike or you - sit on it before you buy.
