Rider Profile

Best ForNote: the specifications provided are for the Indian Sport Chief, not the Scout Sixty, so this profile reflects that larger big-bore cruiser rather than the Scout Sixty; an intermediate to experienced rider comfortable with a heavy, high-torque cruiser wi
PurposeBuilt for confident boulevard cruising and stoplight-to-stoplight torque punch rather than outright top-speed or track ambitions.
Rider FitAt over 300 kg with a low 686 mm seat height, it's manageable at a stop for most riders but demands strength and awareness at low speed and in tight maneuvers.
CharacterA big-inch, air-cooled V-twin cruiser with old-school Thunder Stroke character wrapped in modern electronics like ride modes and keyless ignition.
Not Ideal ForNot a good fit for riders wanting sharp cornering agility, off-road capability, or a lightweight, flickable city commuter.

Calculated in your browser only - your height/inseam are never sent to our servers.

Feet:

At 643mm, a rider of 175cm with a 79cm (estimated) inseam will reach the ground with both feet flat on the 2016 Indian Scout Sixty, with a cramped knee angle of around 70 degrees and an upright riding position.

Data quality: measured. Assumes about 30mm of suspension sag once seated (a typical street-bike rule of thumb - stiffer or softer suspension will vary). This is an approximation from category-typical geometry and generic body proportions, not a measurement of this specific bike or you - sit on it before you buy.
