Rider Profile

Best ForBest suited to riders with prior experience on heavy, powerful cruisers, given the strong low-end torque and substantial weight to manage at low speeds.
PurposeBuilt for straight-line muscle-cruiser thrills and boulevard presence rather than back-road carving or long-distance touring.
Rider FitThe low seat height is approachable, but the significant curb weight and wide 240mm rear tyre demand deliberate, confident inputs especially at parking-lot speeds.
CharacterA brash, drag-bike-inspired power cruiser that pairs a high-revving liquid-cooled V-twin with aggressive muscle-bike styling.
Not Ideal ForNot a good fit for riders seeking nimble cornering agility, off-road capability, or a plush long-haul touring experience.

2011 Harley-Davidson VRSCF V-Rod Muscle Rider Ergonomics Assessment

Calculated in your browser only - your height/inseam are never sent to our servers.

Feet:

At 678mm, a rider of 175cm with a 79cm (estimated) inseam will reach the ground with both feet flat on the 2011 Harley-Davidson VRSCF V-Rod Muscle, with a cramped knee angle of around 75 degrees and an upright riding position.

Data quality: measured. Assumes about 30mm of suspension sag once seated (a typical street-bike rule of thumb - stiffer or softer suspension will vary). This is an approximation from category-typical geometry and generic body proportions, not a measurement of this specific bike or you - sit on it before you buy.

Deposits may form on components within the brake system if the DOT 4 brake fluid is not replaced for a prolonged period of time beyond the 2-year maintenance schedule specified in the OwnerÂ’s Manual.

Risk: These deposits may cause a valve within the ABS Hydraulic Control Unit to stick, reducing braking ability and increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Harley-Davidson will notify owners, and dealers will flush the entire brake system with new Platinum Label DOT 4 brake fluid, free of charge. The recall began on February 14, 2018. Owners may contact Harley-Davidson customer service at 1-800-258-2464. Harley-Davidson's number for this recall is 0171.
