Rider Profile

Best ForBest suited to riders with at least some prior experience handling a heavy, low-slung cruiser at parking-lot speeds and in traffic.
PurposeBuilt for stylish boulevard cruising and image-driven custom looks rather than outright speed or long-distance touring comfort.
Rider FitThe low seat height makes it approachable for shorter riders, but the substantial dry weight demands confident strength and balance at a standstill and in slow maneuvers.
CharacterA laid-back, torque-rich big-twin cruiser that rewards relaxed throttle-rolling rides over aggressive cornering or high-rpm thrills.
Not Ideal ForNot a good fit for riders wanting agile cornering, off-road capability, or a sporty, high-speed riding experience.

Character map is an editorial estimate based on this bike's specifications, not a lab-tested measurement.

Risk: THIS COULD LEAD TO AN OIL LEAK AND/OR POSSIBLE FIRE, WHICH COULD RESULT IN INJURY OR DEATH TO THE RIDER.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSTALL A BATTERY CADDY THAT WILL PROTECT THE CABLE AND ENSURE PROPER CABLE ROUTING. THIS RECALL BEGAN ON MAY 4, 2007. OWNERS MAY CONTACT HARLEY-DAVIDSON AT 1-414-342-4080.
