Performance Profile & Rider Fit
Best For
Rider Profile
| Best For | Best suited to experienced riders who are comfortable managing a tall, heavy touring machine at low speeds and in traffic. |
| Purpose | Built for covering long highway miles in relaxed comfort rather than for outright speed or sporty handling. |
| Rider Fit | Its substantial dry weight and low-end torque demand confident handling at parking-lot speeds, though the low seat height helps shorter riders plant their feet. |
| Character | A classic American cruiser-tourer defined by its lazy V-twin torque, deep exhaust note, and unhurried, stable highway demeanor. |
| Not Ideal For | Not the right choice for riders seeking sharp cornering ability, off-road capability, or a lightweight, nimble ride. |

Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE FENDER TIP LIGHT WIRING HARNESS RETENTION CLIPS, AND INSPECT AND REPLACE, IF NECESSARY, ANY DAMAGED WIRING HARNESSES. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN JANUARY 9, 2002. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT HARLEY-DAVIDSON AT 1-414-342-4680.
