Rider Profile

Best ForApproachable for both new riders wary of balancing a two-wheeler and experienced riders looking for a different kind of machine, thanks to its automatic-style transmission and inherent three-wheel stability.
PurposeBuilt for relaxed, confidence-inspiring open-road touring rather than outright speed or nimble cornering.
Rider FitEasy on the body with no need to balance the machine at stops, a low seat height, and light physical demands compared to a traditional heavyweight touring bike.
CharacterA stable, torquey, gadget-laden three-wheeler that trades cornering lean for planted confidence and long-haul comfort.
Not Ideal ForNot suited to riders chasing aggressive lean-angle cornering, off-road adventure, or a lightweight, flickable ride.

2016 Can-Am Spyder F3-S Rider Ergonomics Assessment

Calculated in your browser only - your height/inseam are never sent to our servers.

Feet:

At 737mm, a rider of 175cm with a 79cm (estimated) inseam will reach the ground with both feet flat on the 2016 Can-Am Spyder F3-S, with a cramped knee angle of around 80 degrees and an upright riding position.

Data quality: measured. Assumes about 30mm of suspension sag once seated (a typical street-bike rule of thumb - stiffer or softer suspension will vary). This is an approximation from category-typical geometry and generic body proportions, not a measurement of this specific bike or you - sit on it before you buy.
