BMW C 650 Sport - 2018 Specifications and Reviews
The 2018 BMW C 650 Sport is a premium maxi-scooter designed for commuters and touring riders seeking comfort and practicality. Known for its balanced handling, generous fuel capacity, and modern braking technology including ABS, it excels at long-distance cruising while maintaining manageable weight and a relatively low seat height for accessibility.
About the BMW C 650 Sport
Powered by a water cooled 647.00cc two cylinder four stroke engine, putting out 60bhp.
Improvements over the previous model include a revised engine mapping, CVT gearbox, clutch and silencer along with updates to the design, suspension and centre stand set-up.
The 15" die cast Aluminium wheels take a 120/70 tyre up front and 160/60 at the rear. In terms of storage the seat can take two full face helmets when parked and the left of the two glove boxes contains a 12v socket for your devices.
The C650 Sport is designed, as the name suggests, prioritising performance over practicality. The C650 GT is a better option if comfort is higher on your priority list, it is 12kg heavier and has a 5mm higher seat.
Compared to the GT the rear is noticeably smaller so to fit a second helmet the bottom folds out when needed. It does fowl the rear wheel though so the engine will not start until it is folded back in.
Optional extras include an alarm, lower seat, detailed sports seat, auto-switching daytime running light, heated grips, top box, tinted windscreen, pillion backrest and LED indicators.
