Rider Profile

Best ForThis bike suits an intermediate to experienced rider comfortable with strong midrange torque and a triple that delivers power more aggressively than a typical tourer.
PurposeBuilt as a 1990s flagship sportbike, it's meant for fast road riding and spirited cornering rather than commuting or long-distance touring.
Rider FitThe 800mm seat height and sporty riding position demand a reasonably fit rider comfortable leaning forward, with average to above-average leg length helping at stops.
CharacterThe triple-cylinder engine gives it a distinctive growl and a blend of torquey punch and top-end rush that feels more characterful than typical four-cylinder rivals of its era.
Not Ideal ForThis isn't the right bike for new riders seeking a relaxed upright stance or for anyone wanting genuine off-road capability or plush two-up touring comfort.

1997 Triumph Daytona T595 Rider Ergonomics Assessment

Calculated in your browser only - your height/inseam are never sent to our servers.

Feet:

At 800mm, a rider of 175cm with a 79cm (estimated) inseam will reach the ground with both feet flat on the 1997 Triumph Daytona T595, with a cramped knee angle of around 70 degrees and a forward-leaning riding position.

Data quality: estimated (wheelbase estimated from this category's typical bike, not this model's own spec). Assumes about 30mm of suspension sag once seated (a typical street-bike rule of thumb - stiffer or softer suspension will vary). This is an approximation from category-typical geometry and generic body proportions, not a measurement of this specific bike or you - sit on it before you buy.
