Rider Profile

Best ForThis is a demanding homologation-special superbike best suited to experienced riders comfortable with a race-oriented in-line four and heavy, planted chassis.
PurposeBuilt primarily for aggressive sport riding and track days, with its carbureted big-bore four-cylinder favoring top-end power over everyday versatility.
Rider FitThe riding position is committed and forward-leaning, demanding decent wrist, shoulder, and core strength for anything beyond short, spirited rides.
CharacterA raw, old-school superbike character with a heavy dry weight for its class, rewarding smooth inputs and confident, deliberate cornering over flickable agility.
Not Ideal ForThis is not the right bike for new riders, commuters wanting comfort, or anyone planning long-distance touring or off-road use.

Character map is an editorial estimate based on this bike's specifications, not a lab-tested measurement.

1999 Kawasaki ZX-7R Ninja Rider Ergonomics Assessment

Calculated in your browser only - your height/inseam are never sent to our servers.

Feet:

At 820mm, a rider of 175cm with a 79cm (estimated) inseam will reach the ground with balls of both feet on the 1999 Kawasaki ZX-7R Ninja, with a cramped knee angle of around 70 degrees and a forward-leaning riding position.

Data quality: measured. Assumes about 30mm of suspension sag once seated (a typical street-bike rule of thumb - stiffer or softer suspension will vary). This is an approximation from category-typical geometry and generic body proportions, not a measurement of this specific bike or you - sit on it before you buy.
