KTM 250 SX F - 2027 Specifications and Reviews

The KTM 250 SX-F remains for 2027 KTM's entry point into four-stroke motocross racing, powered by a 249.9cc single-cylinder engine with a high 14.5:1 compression ratio, through a 5-speed gearbox and Brembo-actuated wet clutch. It uses the same chromoly steel frame, WP XACT air fork, and WP XACT monoshock as its larger SX-F siblings, at a claimed 101 kg dry weight and 958mm seat height. It's built purely for closed-course motocross competition rather than trail or street riding.

2027 KTM 250 SX F Rider Ergonomics Assessment

Calculated in your browser only - your height/inseam are never sent to our servers.

Feet:

At 958mm, a rider of 175cm with a 79cm (estimated) inseam will not reach the ground comfortably on the 2027 KTM 250 SX F, with a cramped knee angle of around 85 degrees and an upright riding position.

Data quality: measured. Assumes about 30mm of suspension sag once seated (a typical street-bike rule of thumb - stiffer or softer suspension will vary). This is an approximation from category-typical geometry and generic body proportions, not a measurement of this specific bike or you - sit on it before you buy.
