Rider Profile

Best ForBest suited to riders who already have some experience handling a heavy, low-slung cruiser at low speeds.
PurposeBuilt for laid-back boulevard cruising and show-stopping style rather than outright performance.
Rider FitThe low seat height helps shorter riders plant their feet, but the substantial weight demands confident strength at parking-lot speeds.
CharacterA classic torque-rich V-twin custom cruiser that rewards a relaxed throttle hand and an appreciation for chrome and presence over agility.
Not Ideal ForNot the right choice for riders wanting sharp cornering ability, off-road capability, or a lightweight, flickable ride.

Character map is an editorial estimate based on this bike's specifications, not a lab-tested measurement.

Risk: THIS COULD LEAD TO AN OIL LEAK AND/OR POSSIBLE FIRE, WHICH COULD RESULT IN INJURY OR DEATH TO THE RIDER.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSTALL A BATTERY CADDY THAT WILL PROTECT THE CABLE AND ENSURE PROPER CABLE ROUTING. THIS RECALL BEGAN ON MAY 4, 2007. OWNERS MAY CONTACT HARLEY-DAVIDSON AT 1-414-342-4080.
