Rider Profile

Best ForThis CVO Fat Bob suits an experienced rider comfortable handling a heavy, torque-laden big-inch V-twin at low speeds and around town.
PurposeIt's built for bold, muscular boulevard cruising and image-driven custom styling rather than outright speed or long-distance efficiency.
Rider FitThe low 640mm seat height helps shorter riders reach the ground, but the substantial dry weight of over 300kg demands solid low-speed balance and upper body strength when maneuvering.
CharacterIt rewards a confident, laid-back rider who enjoys strong torque delivery, a commanding stance, and premium CVO exclusivity over nimble handling.
Not Ideal ForThis bike is not for riders seeking sharp cornering agility, off-road capability, or a lightweight, flickable ride.

Character map is an editorial estimate based on this bike's specifications, not a lab-tested measurement.

2009 Harley-Davidson FXDFSE CVO Dyna Fat Bob Rider Ergonomics Assessment

Calculated in your browser only - your height/inseam are never sent to our servers.

Feet:

At 640mm, a rider of 175cm with a 79cm (estimated) inseam will reach the ground with both feet flat on the 2009 Harley-Davidson FXDFSE CVO Dyna Fat Bob, with a cramped knee angle of around 70 degrees and an upright riding position.

Data quality: measured. Assumes about 30mm of suspension sag once seated (a typical street-bike rule of thumb - stiffer or softer suspension will vary). This is an approximation from category-typical geometry and generic body proportions, not a measurement of this specific bike or you - sit on it before you buy.
