Rider Profile

Best ForBest suited to riders who already have experience with heavy, low-slung cruisers and are comfortable managing a bike that weighs over 300 kg dry.
PurposeThis is a styling-forward custom cruiser built for boulevard cruising and making a visual statement rather than for outright speed or long-distance touring.
Rider FitThe low 765mm seat height helps shorter riders reach the ground, but the substantial weight and springer-style front end demand solid low-speed balance and upper body strength at a standstill.
CharacterA rugged, blacked-out bobber-styled Harley with a rigid-look springer front end, minimal chrome, and old-school attitude aimed at riders who want distinctive retro custom style.
Not Ideal ForNot a good fit for riders seeking sharp cornering ability, off-road capability, or a bike optimized for high-speed sport riding.

Character map is an editorial estimate based on this bike's specifications, not a lab-tested measurement.

2008 Harley-Davidson FLSTSB Softail Cross Bones Rider Ergonomics Assessment

Calculated in your browser only - your height/inseam are never sent to our servers.

Feet:

At 767mm, a rider of 175cm with a 79cm (estimated) inseam will reach the ground with both feet flat on the 2008 Harley-Davidson FLSTSB Softail Cross Bones, with a cramped knee angle of around 85 degrees and an upright riding position.

Data quality: measured. Assumes about 30mm of suspension sag once seated (a typical street-bike rule of thumb - stiffer or softer suspension will vary). This is an approximation from category-typical geometry and generic body proportions, not a measurement of this specific bike or you - sit on it before you buy.
